Pastor Troy joined Hamlin Memorial as the new senior pastor in July of 2025. He and his wife, Terri, have moved here from Hobbs, NM. They were married in March of 2020 and have four kids together: Brenton, Paige, Michael, and Paisley. Troy previously served as a deacon and discipleship leader in the Assemblies of God. While serving in these capacities, he heard the call to full-time ministry and began seeking ordination in the newly formed Global Methodist Church. He is currently enrolled at Wesley Biblical Seminary, where he is working toward his Master of Divinity. His greatest desire is to see people’s lives transformed by the work of the Holy Spirit. He loves reading and talking about the Scriptures with others. Coming from a troubled past, he knows firsthand that God can transform anyone who comes to Jesus Christ for salvation. Troy's prayer is that the Father would continue to use Hamlin Memorial to point others to His Son, Jesus Christ, so they too can experience the transforming power of the Holy Spirit.
